Car #9 – Porsche 911 Carrera S
Having owned water cooled 911’s for the past 20 years, I finally thought it time to try a modern 911. I have to be honest, I loved my 993’s – those classic 911 looks, the curves, the noise, the old interior… I was worried that a new air cooled 911 would have lost some of that charm and character. However, Porsche have done a really great job of keeping those classic lines and enough of the old interior styling on this generation (992) to make it feel very special indeed!
The 992 I think is probably the best looking 911 ever made, but the performance is on another level! My previous 911 (993 Turbo) was a rocket ship, but this thing is ridiculously fast! Its a really beautiful car inside and out with every mod con you could ever need! The cooled seats are great in summer and help keep the groom cool and calm on the way to the ceremony!
I love my car and there is honestly nothing better than sharing it with a Porsche fan, a petrol head or just someone who appreciates nice things on their big day!
